Whatever we do at present seems to lead to chaos, seems to lead to sorrow and unhappiness. Look at your own life and you will see that our living is always on the border of sorrow. Our work, our social activity, our politics, all produce further war. Destruction follows in the wake of living; whatever we do leads to death. This is what is actually taking place.

The mind is the product of the past, it is the result of yesterday ;
and can such a mind be open to the unknown ?
It can only project an image, but that projection is not real; so your god is not God, it is an image of your own making, an image of your own gratification.

If you know, you tell me, share with me. I will be happy and glad to receive it. If you don't know, then I know something. I can share it with you. Then receive it. If both know then there is no need to talk at all. If both don't know, what is the point of talking ? Discussion is meaningless. These are the only possibilities; either we both don't know ? Then we can go on arguing and argument will not bring any conclusion. That's how man has argued down the ages. Great argumentation , to no end. Or, we both know, then there is no point in saying anything.

Man is man, always. He never changes. What man was when the world was created , he is today, also. He is made of the same stuff. He will never change. You rub any man, you find the same substance inside. He may be primitive or the modern cultured, so called educated man. They are all made of the substance, same stuff. They have the same weakness and their desires are of the same character.

Silence must happen while you are absolutely alive, vital, bubbling with life and energy.
Then silence is meaningful.
But then silence will have a different ,
altogether different quality to it.
It will not be dull.
It will be alive.
It will be a subtle balance between two polarities.

We get only that for which we are fitted. Let us give up our pride and understand this : that misery is never undeserved. Analyse yourselves and you will find that every blow you have received came to you because you prepared yourselves for it. You did half and the external world did the other half : that is how the blow came.
