MEDITATION becomes a true education, a secret preparation of ourselves to face the world of unsteady circumstances and evanescent glories. True Meditation can bring out of any ordinary man an incomparable genius. The stories of the great risihies of the world tell us that they had nothing much to claim for their general education; many of them had none of the circumstances to achieve anything specatcular , but they grew to such stature merely through Meditation, ultimately to become immortal men of wisdom, power, and glory !!!

What we actually are and what we believe ourselves to be is the first hurdle to be jumped over by every spiritual aspirant. Intreospection or self analysis is the only means to relieve this initial blockade. Regular practice of detaching one's ego from oneself and watching it with one's own pure, impartial judgement is introspection. Self evaluation or self judgement is the only method of actually knowing what we really are.

For some people life is a burden; to others it is an opportunity. Some feel elated or depressed at the bits of life lived separately in meaningless patches; others sense a unity in the apparent diversities. Verily for some, life is an edifying song; for others it is a disgusting mess of profitless noise.

Where from do spring these varied behaviour ?

Every great achievements is done slowly. All great undertakings are achieved through mighty obstacles. All great achievements are fraught with numerous impediments.

We want infinite energy, infinite zeal, infinite courage and infinite patience, then only will great things can be achieved. Take your time and you will achieve your end.

Aloneness does not mean isolation, it does not mean one is withdrawn and has built a wall around oneself. Alone means that one is all one. Then one is a total human being representing all humanity, one's consiousness has undergone a change through perception, which is the awakening of intelligence.

A mind that is caught in illusions has no order. Order can only come about holistically. We need order; even in a very small room one puts things in their right place otherewise it becomes disorderly, ugly, and lacking repose.

Order, is psychologically, something entirely different; it can come about when there is clarity. Clarity brings order, not the other way round; try to seek order then that becomes mechnistic, a conformity to a pattern in which there can be no clarity. Order implies harmony in daily life.

Ours is a world of feelings and ideas, of attraction and repulsions, of scales of values, of motives and incentives; a mental world altogether. Biologically we need very little; our problems are of a different order. Problems created by desires and fear and wrong ideas can be solved only on the level of the mind. You must conquire your own mind and for this you must go beyond it.

Our minds are so cluttered up, with knowledge, with worries, with problems, with money, with position and prestige; they are so burdened
that there is no space at all; yet without space there is no order.
Living where there is no effert, where there is no action of will, where there is tremendous space, is part of MEDITATION.

Look all things happen in this world. They just happen. You cannot change the course of events, but you change your attitude and what really matters is the attitude and not the bare events. The world is the abode of desires and fears. You cannot find peace in it. For peace you must go beyond the world.

The root cause of the world is self-love. Because of it we seek pleasure and avoid pain. Replace self love by love of the Self and the picture changes.
