The world emerges because of ignorance and takes you into a waking dream state. Both sleep and waking are misnomers because you are only dreaming; you dream that you are awake, you dream that you are asleep. See all as a dream, and stay out of it.....The main point to grasp is that you have projected onto yourself a world of your own imagination, based on memories, desires, and fears, and that you have imprisoned yourself in it. Realize that, break the spell, and BE FREE.

Who is it that wants to become one with that all pervading principle? First of all, get rid of that "YOU" . This is the place where all hopes, expectations and desires are completely dissolved, annihilated. At that stage what is left of you ? You dabbled in many concepts. So long as we are one with that beingness we would always like to have some very high concepts about ourselves.

Nothing is to be done. Be in your beingness and everything that is to happen will happen. You must have a deep yearning to attain the TRUTH. You must have the intense need to understand . To such a person , the Guru arrives and breaks the shell.

By repeating the Mantra with a great deal of concentration the inner receptacle in the body is purified so that one becomes receptive to such inner knowledge that may come, and the mind disappears into a spirit of reality.

If you go to sleep with the knowledge that you are consciousness, that same thought will prevail through the day. Sleep with the conviction that the body is space. It is the thought that you are the body that bring suffering. Keep in mind, everyday, that you are not the body, that you are simply the knowledge, the consciousness. After death body will be transformed into space; so why not persume that it is the space now?

So long as a man feels himself the doer, her reaps the fruits of his actions. But as soon as he realizes through enquiry who is the doer, the sense of doership drops off and the threefold karma comes to an end. This is the final Liberation.

The egoic self is always engaged in seeking. It is seeking more of this or that to add to itself, to make itself feel more complete. This explains the ego's compulsive preoccupation with future.

Dogmas - religious, political, scientific - arise out of the erroneous belief that thought can encapsulate reality or the truth. Dogmas are collective conceptual prison. And the strange thing is that people love their prison cells because they give them a sense of security and a false sense of " I know ".

You cannot describe it, You cannot picture it,

You cannot admire it, You cannot sense it,

It is your true Self, It has nowhere to hide,

When the world is destroyed, It will not be destroyed...

Meditation is to reject all experience and be in the experienceless state. To understand this you have to Meditate. What is the experience ? The experience " TO BE " . The one who observes this being and no-being state is the True state.

All training in spiritual life begins with this attitude of manliness; not hanging on to an external God for everything, like the baby hangingon to its mother all the time. Such a baby will ever remain only a baby. It won't grow. Similarly, the spiritual baby also can grow only when it understands this great message of Self-reliance- ATMA-SRADHA and ATMA-NIRBHARATA - and develops its physical muscles of body, mental muscles of intelligence and will, and emotional muscles of feeling.

Few things possess more Power than a Thought.
A Thought has the potential to become something significant.
To solve something meaningful and to inspire us to achieve great things.

What is our so-called life ? Just a little drama, just a little playfulness and you are gone. Our so-called life is so momentary that one should not get attached to it. Hidden behind every moment is the eternal.

Bring a little more awareness to your existence. Each act has to be done less automatically than you have been doing up to now, and you have the key. If you are walking, don't walk like a robot. Don't do it mechanically; bring a little awareness to it. Slow down. Let each step be taken in full consciousness.

Man remains a slave of misery because he has chosen it. It is easier to be miserable because the whole crowd is miserable. It feels more comfortable to be with the crowd than to be alone. To be blissful means to be alone. To be blissful means to seek and search for something inside you and not to imitate the crowd.

How can an unsteady mind make itself steady? Of course it cannot. It is the nature of the mind to roam about. All you can do is to shift the focus of consciousness beyond the mind.

The absolute state cannot be explained by words. Words are only pointers. You are that absolute, unchanging. Consciousness is homogenous and one only. When you are in that stage of consciousness, it is all one, all the same, only the expressions are different.

You have been associated with the body-mind for such a long period, to get rid of that will take some time. But for you to become established in the knowledge, reflecting and meditating on it is very essential. For that it is necessary to quit one habit you are normally given to and substitute another habit. Now what is this substitute habit ? It is to think constantly that you are not the body.

Buddha says : Start with breathing, because that is the most simple thing in the world, so simple that you don't do it at all. It happens on its own. Watch it, become aware of it. Sitting silently, simply see the breath going in, the breath going out.

Meditation is the final gateway which leads to the Supreme Self within. The mind of man attracted by the sense-organs constantly dwells in the sense-objects around him. To subdue these activities the first step in the process of meditation would necessarily be to disengage his attention from the world. This is achieved by practising selfless service, by cultivating devotion to the Lord or by studying and reflecting upon the scriptural indications of the Truth.

The secret of success in life lies in keeping the head above the storms of the heart. A successful man never allows his faculty of discrimination and judgement to be disturbed by the rising tides of his mental emotions. When emotions and impulses start dictating our actions, we sink to the level of the animals.
