Logic is a remarkably useful instrument. We can perform many useful and necessary operations of a commercial, domestic, practical or professional nature with its aid. Nevertheless both history and experience tell us that logic is often used to substantiate a lie. As a matter of fact the superficial fine logic a useful means of proving one's self right, however wrong. Thus they impose upon people who accept anything, however fallacious, provided it is presented to them disguised with the externals of logical proof. Logic is an admirable servant to a wise employer but verily it is a bad master.

:)...beautifully put...this has been gnawing on me for sometime...to see things without the burden of perceptions..to observe without the filters...to logically arrive at conclusions...but whn one arrives due to logic there seems to be an effort...something wrong...it seems directed rather than a natural awareness...
